Aziz Ansari: Intimate Moments For A Sensual Evening

January 23, 2010 in Stuff that's RAD

Don’t be fooled by the name (or cover), this is a comedy special by a visible minority who isn’t horribly cliched.

Along with having the best name in the comedy business, Aziz also puts on one of the best shows which are high energy and also topical. Some of his segments include: Craigslist, Facebook, and Kayne West, he also talks about Googling his own name…maybe he will stumble onto this website. It’s also pretty funny, as long as you’re not easily offended.

Electric guitar is more electric than guitar

January 22, 2010 in Stuff that's RAD

A guitar with no pick ups or strings…but added a crazy touch pad and weird button-like frets. It is being called the Misa Digital Guitar, and is intended to be used for electronic music.

2010 keeps on delivering.

Worst Mom… Ever

Old news, but just a friendly reminder of how much I should love my mom.

I would just be happy with a spankin and a bar of soap.

Chick thinks all movies are sad

January 21, 2010 in Stuff that's RAD

Remember that video of the girl crying at the emotionally heartbreaking Return of the Jedi? Well her loving husband decided to create a website, creatively named cryingwife.com, to showcase her misery.

Special appearance of their dog, N00berham Lincoln, on the 2012 video at 0:37.

Blast from the past: Tremors (1990)

January 20, 2010 in The "B" List

20 years ago Hollywood and Kevin Bacon brought us a new form of monster: Graboids. If you haven’t seen this little gem then you’re missing out on watching Reba McEntire shoot giant underground worms in the face. Seriously. Giant underground worms. In the face.

Bum Fights!

January 19, 2010 in The "B" List

All I have to say is that there is an actual DVD for sale with real footage of bums fighting and doing stunts in exchange for money, food, alcohol or drugs. A must see for all you sick people out there.

And like all successful and thought provoking films such as the “Friday the 13th” franchise, Bumfights has also released sequels such as:

  • Bumfights: A Cause for Concern (2002)
  • Bumfights 2: Bumlife (2003)
  • Bumfights 3: The Felony Footage (2004)
  • Bumfights 4: Return Of The Ruckus (2006)

A Cross the Universe

January 18, 2010 in The "B" List

Lets be clear here: this is not the Documentary about love, trippy music, and the Beatles, this is a short documentary is about the French electronica duo Justice. So what is so special about Justice you ask, well not much besides the huge international phenomenon they have become in a very short time. These dudes document their North American tour and put the craziest parts together to create a one hour thing of random clips.

As a fan, I felt motivated, and was encouraged to get drunk and get a Justice tattoo. The movie is still a good watch for people who do not know much about electro music, or Justice themselves because it is interesting to see what rich famous people get up to on their spare time. Even though there is no real direction or relevance to anything, it is still fun to see them party way hard, destroy stuff, talk to random fans, and have run ins with the law (+bonus for boobies). The one thing I took away from this is that I want to be an eletronica superstar and am now starting my own group, look for me to explode in the near (or distant) future.

Conan vs. Leno vs. NBC vs. the world

January 17, 2010 in Stuff that's RAD

The late night war between Conan and Leno has gotten a bit ridiculous, hilarious, and depressing. It’s worth nothing that this story has not been confirmed by NBC, but is looking very likely at the time of writing.

Conan O’Brien has been given hosting duties of the Tonight Show at 11:35 from Jay Leno, and only seven months later Conan is getting the show taken away from him…by Jay Leno. Being a long time fan of Conan, and a long time disliker of Leno, I was very surprised and disappointed in the whole situation. The best thing that came from this is the celebrity support for Conan, most notably from Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel is a late show host on ABC, and after hearing the news, he impersonated Leno for a whole show. Kimmel then went on Leno for a segment and ended up trashing Leno on his own show, its brilliant.
