Joaquin Pheonix is ‘still here,’ or so he says

Joaquin Pheonix has had a rough last year, supposedly throwing away his critically acclaimed acting career to pursue a rap/hip-hop career in the most trainwrecky way possible. As the world forgot about Pheonix a trailer for a mockumentary starring the barely recognizable star is set to answer your non existent questions. Apparently the movie contains Pheonix snorting cocaine, sex with a publicist and more frontal male nudity than in pornographic films.

It could be funny, but does anyone actually care?

…But not the Titanic sequel anybody wants. This new movie, Titanic 2, is made by the infamous ‘movie’ studio The Asylum, who made such classics as Transmorphers and I Am Omega.

Traps come alive in Saw 3D!

New Saw movie, seven if you lost count, will be named Saw 3D: Traps Come Alive. Even ignoring the hilariously bad subtitle, note that this Saw is in three dimensions, cause well…Avatar did it! Just like the trend of 3D movies, I hope the trend of yearly Saw movies stops in the near future.

Keep an eye out for this eye grabbing horror flick this October (see what I did there?)

Allergy season is going to kill us all and the government can’t help.

Dark Crystal is getting a sequel, in 3D

Remember Dark Crystal? It was made in 1982 and was the best movie starring puppets of all time, besides the Muppet movie of course.

Here, catch up by watching the original trailer.

So now, some 30 years later, the puppets are not replaced but complimented by 3D video trickery and CG computer magic. Look for Power of the Dark Crystal sometime in the far off future.

Winnebago Man, you really can make a movie out of anything

A documentary about the internet phenomenon ‘Winnebago Man’ has been made, and is to be out in July. The Winnebago Man was a salesman who became popular for his frequent cursing during his sales in the 90′s, and became an internet star in 2005.

The indie film ‘Rubber’ is about a tire. A tire that is alive, and kills people. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.

Judge Dredd will tell you who is the law, in 3D

A new Judge Dredd movie is reportedly in the works, for those who have no idea what or who Judge Dredd is take a look at this short video.

The follow up to the 1995 guilty pleasure is supposedly coming out this year, in 3D, and Stallone-less. The new director is Pete Travis, best known for Vantage Point. Seems like it could be cool, but it should totally be a movie of Stallone trying to pronounce the word ‘law.’
