Counterstrike is serious business.

Julien Barreaux reportedly spent six months looking for the person who killed his online character in a virtual knife fight, and eventually found the foe living only a few miles away in Cambrai, a town about 2 hours north of Paris.”

And what exactly did Julien do when he arrived at his doorstep might you ask? Well he stabbed his opponent in the chest. Silly French people… don’t they know that he’ll just respawn next round? Seriously though, the victim did survive the attack, but apparently some people can’t find a better way to channel their e-rage.

Gamecrush, a website with girls and video games (promise)

March 24, 2010 in Stuff that's RAD

Face it, love is scarce for gamers (yea I mean YOU) and this website alone will eliminate that scarcity (it’s true, you won’t ever have to leave your basement to find a girlfriend/boyfriend!)

“GameCrush is the first adult online social site that allows users to meet, match and pay to play online games with other users to enhance their gaming experience. Offering players a variety of console and PC based Games to choose from, GameCrush is the hottest way for gamers to connect and play.

GameCrush is the only online service that allows gamers to choose a companion to spice up their favorite online games. Both Players and PlayDates define the experience they want- either “flirty” or “dirty”, choosing from some of the most popular console titles and casual web-based games.”

As you probably saw on their official site, they have already overloaded on the amount of requests and are having to add more servers to respond to the unheard number of hungry penises over the internet.

EDIT: Oh yea by the way, you gotta pay. Internet prostitution is not free :)

Everyday the same dream

January 16, 2010 in Stuff that's RAD

Warning: this is not so much a ‘game’ as it is an interactive movie thing, there is no real action or challenge. That aside this game thing is pretty neat, and the music is pretty rad also. Check it out if you are into arty games about life.

The ending is pretty crazy…if you can figure out how to get it.

Check it out here.

Browser Pong

December 22, 2009 in Stuff that's RAD

When was the last time anyone cared about Pong? If you have ever owned anything electronic chances are that Pong is on it in some shape or form. This version is unique as the game is played with browser windows.

It may not make sense in words, but here is a picture that depicts the sheer awesomeness of Pong and what you should expect from this interweb variation.

PONG!!!!

How fast can you click?

December 14, 2009 in Stuff that's RAD

So I’m bored and what do I do? I see how many clicks I can do in 10 seconds, of course. I managed to get 108 by rolling my eyes back into a self induced seizure. Apparently I need a doctor :(

Small Worlds

December 9, 2009 in Stuff that's RAD

If you can get past the fact that this old-school platformer looks like it was designed by a five year old using MS Paint, Small Worlds is one of the most inventive flash games around. Without saying too much this game is about exploration and discovery; there are no enemies to kill or princesses to save or any action whatsoever besides moving and jumping.

Small Worlds

The top-notch music creates a moody atmosphere that sets the tone which makes up for the simple yet effective visuals. The game took me about 10 minutes to complete from start to finish, but what a unique 10 minutes that was. If you can appreciate avant garde games about mood, setting and one-of-a-kind gameplay rather, than pure action and complex graphics, check this out.
